Huntingdon Branch
The Huntingdon Branch was formed on Saint George's Day in 2004 to promote the key objectives of the Royal Society of Saint George in fostering a love of England, its history and traditions. To keep fresh the memory of those who serve or have served England, their achievements in social history and the arts and to encourage the celebration of Saint George's Day wherever those with a love for England Gather.
The Branch regularly meet socially throughout the year and are pleased to welcome members and their guests to all our events.

ST GEORGE'S DAY 2026

Dear Friends
The Royal Society of Saint George together with Huntingdon Town Council invite you to join them in celebrating Saint George’s Day by attending a Church Service on Saturday 25th April 2026 at 6.00pm.
The Service will take place in All Saints’ Church, and we would ask you and your guest/s to take your seats in the church no later than 5.45pm.
At the conclusion of the Service, at approximately 7:00pm, a four-course meal will take place at Huntingdon Town Hall, which you are welcome to attend. Tickets are £35.00 and include wine with your meal. There will also be a raffle at the meal.
The dress will be formal, dinner jacket and black tie for gentlemen and appropriate dress for ladies. Military mess dress is encouraged for serving and retired personnel and Chains of Office and medals may be worn.
Please note: any vehicles parked on the Market Square for the Church Service and/or meal may receive a parking ticket. To avoid such an incident, please make use of our town centre car parks, all of which will be free from 6.00pm.

* Please note: the evening meal will take place on the second floor of the Town Hall with access via the stairs. A lift is available for guests with restricted mobility.

PAST EVENT NEWS
On the 18th October 2025 the Huntingdon Branch held a very successful Trafalgar Dinner in the Assembly Rooms at Huntingdon Town Hall. This was held in conjunction with the Royal Naval Association who provided historic details of Trafalgar. 72 guests attended.
We have heard of the sad demise of Fenland Branch of the RSSG and would welcome any of their members to our branch. If they contact the secretary Mary Hodge on scatty4@hotmail.co.uk she will be happy to help.
Our next events are a Lunch for our members on the 6th February 2026, AGM is on the 3rd March 2026 and our St George’s Dinner is to be held on the 25th April 2026.
