Christmas Banquet 2023
The City of London Branch is pleased to invite Members and Friends from all Branches to join them at their Annual Christmas Banquet on Friday 15th of December 2023 in the historic Mansion House.
Reception 6:30pm, Dinner 7:30pm, Carriages 10:30pm
We will be hosted by our Chairman Deputy Christopher Hayward, and honoured by the presence of the Lord Mayor and the Sheriffs
Dress: WHITE TIE PREFERRED, BLACK TIE ACCEPTABLE,
EQUIVALENT FOR LADIES.

English Wine Tasting & Supper - Wednesday 15th November 2023
Our Chairman Deputy Christopher Hayward has arranged a tasting of English Wines accompanied by a hot buffet supper in the Private Dining Room on the 3rd floor at Guildhall West Wing.
We shall be tasting 8 English wines with a break halfway through to be served a buffet meal of good English fayre, Cottage Pie followed by Spotted Dick and Custard.
The evening will commence at 6pm and finish by 8.30pm.
We will break about 7pm for around 30 minutes for the food.
The cost of the evening will be £79 inclusive of VAT.
There is a maximum of 32 and you can bring guests.
When the tasting has finished, we will be able to make use of the Guildhall club bar to socialise over a drink with a pay bar.

Attached is the booking form for our annual St Georges Banquet, again at Guildhall, we have been a victim of our own success as we have had to register for VAT, hence the price increase.SORRY
We still have spaces for the St Clement Dane trip and fish & chip lunch
Please put in your diary the installation date for our incoming chairman Deputy Chris Hayward on the 15th May at Haberdashers.
Chris already has an event organised, a wine tasting and buffet supper in the private dining room at Guildhall on the 7th July, he also has plans for a music hall visit and lunch, September/October.
It would be nice to get at least 10 people to sign up for the Big Curry Lunch, details of the benefits of 10 booking are below, the price is the same as if you booked individually but without the added bonus, please let me know if you are interested.
The Lord Mayor's Big Curry Lunch on Thursday, 30th March 2023
The President Stephen Lane invites you to join him at this huge event in the Great Hall at Guildhall, with over 1,500 guests, including a Royal Guest of Honour; the Lord Mayor and Sheriffs; Members of Livery Companies and Ward Clubs; Members of Parliament; and senior officers, serving soldiers, and veterans of Her Majesty’s Armed Forces, for whom this fundraiser is in support of.
Guests are welcome to stay for the duration of the lunch, 11.45am to 3pm, and take part in all the activities available.
Tickets cost: £100.00 per person, , if we book 10 or more places we get the additional benefits of .

ST GEORGE’S DAY BANQUET 2023
The City of London Branch is delighted to have the opportunity to return to the Great Hall of London’s Guildhall on Friday 21st April, with our annual banquet to celebrate St George’s Day
On this occasion, we will have as our guest Sheriff Andrew Marsden and his consort Marian.
The evening will commence with a sparkling wine reception at 6:30pm, followed by dinner at 7:30pm, there will be the traditional parade of Roast Beef and the singing of patriotic songs led by Soprano Anna Gregg.
Carriages will be at 10:30 at which time we are required to leave the premises.
The price of tickets is £159 per person. (Incl £26.50). VAT invoices can be issued on request.
There is no limit on the number of guests you may bring, the more the merrier, spread the word.
Closing date for applications is 12th April 2023, after which time no refunds will be given.
