Dear Fellows & Members,
On Sunday the 20th of October, our branch will be hosting a book fair at the Gables on Finch. Many of the books on sale were donated by our late friend, Gwendolyn Gage. The event is being staged in conjunction with the RCS, TPI and Kiwanis and is a fundraiser for all four organisations.
We will also be celebrating the Battle of Trafalgar through a display and video. This event will be open to the public. Entry will be by gold coin donation. Devonshire teas will be available for purchase throughout the day.
For those who are paid members, the AGM will be held at 10am. This will be just to confirm the financial reports for the last financial year and the councillors for the next year.
