Branch Patron

Towards the end of 2018 Dame Janet Trotter stepped down as Patron of Gloucestershire Branch, coinciding with her retirement from the role of Her Majesty’s Lord Lieutenant of Gloucestershire.  The Branch is extremely grateful for Dame Janet’s help and support during her eight years as Patron, not least arranging the presence of HRH The Princess Royal at the Branch’s 40th St. George’s Day Service in April 2018.

The Branch is delighted to announce that Gloucestershire’s new Lord Lieutenant, Mr. Edward Gillespie, O.B.E., has kindly agreed to become our new Patron and will take part in this year’s St. George’s Day Service in Gloucester Cathedral, including presenting the Nairac Youth Awards.

Nairac Awards
If you know of any youngsters who are ‘unsung heroes’, please think about nominating them for a Nairac Award. You can find information about the 2019 Awards here
