Welcome to the Bolton Branch of The Royal Society of St George. We are one of the newest branches of The Society that was formed in 2014. The aims of this branch of The Society, along with the general aims of The Society as a whole are to promote philanthropy to local causes with an upper donation limit of £250.
Our main social events are centred around our annual St Georges Day Dinner on the 23rd April and Admiral Lord Nelson's Birthday on the 29th September. On this date, we plant, on behalf of The Society, English Oak trees from the same genus as those that built HMS Victory, all over the borough in memorial of noted people of Bolton who would not have otherwise been honoured.
