Welcome to the Blackburn and Darwen Branch of The Royal Society of St George.  The aims of this branch of The Society, along with the general aims of The Society as a whole are to promote philanthropy to local causes.

Our main social events are centred around our annual St Georges Day Dinner on or around the 23rd April. We also hold social events throughout the year.

We promote our patron Saint George through activities in the town centres of Blackburn and Darwen every year on the 23rd of April. Such activities include distribution of roses to ladies, window dressing competitions for the local shops and activities for the local children. We also hold an annual service at Blackburn Cathedral to celebrate our patron saint.

We hope that you will contact us and get involved in our activities and social events latest details of which can be found on our website
